Blessing the Children International is a non-profit organization making a difference in the lives of children in Ethiopia, Africa. Founded in 2001 to work with orphans and other impoverished children, our passion is ministering to the physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of children. Although we partner with more than 30 other ministries and outreaches, our primary focus is the operation of our child foster care program and grade school located in Debre Zeyit, Ethiopia. Blessing the Children works with local churches to identify children in need and to find safe, loving homes to place them in. Through our child sponsorship program and the monthly support of donors, we are able to provide these children with a safe home, food, education, medical care and so much more. The Adana Children Center is a grade school (The BCI Academy) and community center. The BCI Academy currently holds grades 1 – 6 and is under construction to add an additional two classrooms.
