What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Manchester, NH

Manchester, New Hampshire is a city with rich historical ties that comes to life in the fall. It is the most populous city in northern New England. Manchester has a unique multicultural opportunity as it has an increasing New American population. There are several ministries and churches in the area with one heart, goal, and purpose which is to see the city and its people transformed by the love of Jesus. Come play a part in the transformation of Manchester!

  • Kids Ministry- A ministry program that works with inner city, at risk, urban, impoverished kids. Many refugees and New Americans. Mission is: inspiring kids with the genuine love of God to change the world around them

  • Homeless Ministry- Assist local homeless shelters and soup cafes

  • Recovery Ministry- Come alongside Manchester ministries who are leading people to a life of freedom from addiction and prostitituion.

  • Sports Ministry- Soccer and basketball outreach and camps.

  • Foster Care Ministry- Support and engage with foster care families in the area.

Your team will likely be lodging on the local church or ministry floor. Bring your own bedding (BYOB!). Air mattress/sleeping pad is encouraged. There will be showers and a kitchen available for use.

Your group is welcome to drive in or fly in. Manchester is home to an airport with rental options as well. Boston is also an option at about an hour away. Parking is available on site. Groups will be required to supply their own transportation to and from ministry each day. If your team doesn’t mind the additional travel you may also fly into Boston and drive to Manchester.

Mission Trip Offered By Adventures in Missions

You want to follow Jesus’s example in the way He cared for the lost and the hurting. You want to take up Jesus’s commission to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and be His witness to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).

Adventures in Missions is an interdenominational missions organization that focuses on discipleship. We emphasize prayer and relationships in our work around the world. We seek to disciple as Jesus did; our vision is that God would use us to raise up a generation of radically committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

Since we were established in 1989, we have taken over 115,000 people into the mission field, some for as short as a week and others for as long as a year or longer. We minister year-round through our ministry bases and strategic ministry partnerships. We believe that by giving people the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and join what God is doing in other cultures and nations, lives are transformed.
