What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Here are some of the many ministry options you may be involved in as part of a group:
CLM is currently undergoing the development and opening of the first and only Christian Orphanage in the area of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Your group can participate in construction projects as well as ministering to orphans in our care.
Clm is also constructing the first youth camp in Jamaica to be used by both indigenous and international mission groups. When completed the camp will accommodate up to 350 campers. North American teams will be able to interact with the Caribbean youth (big brothers big sisters kind of relationship) and participate in diverse activities such as sports, horse back riding, donkey rides, outdoor tent camping, games etc.
The camp sites will also serve as main location for Church groups camping, training facilities, and hosting visiting groups for years to come. All the groups involved in this project will have their names permanently engraved at the camps lobby as a memorial to the next generation.
In Jamaica as well as in any other country of the Caribbean CLM serves, you (the group) will be able to minister in orphanages, local churches, schools, and communities that desperately need to not only hear about, but also see the love of God in action.
You will work in diverse areas of ministry throughout the week, minister at your own pace, and not have to worry about any logistics. Since every country will present diverse conditions, needs and projects, the ministry options are endless...
