What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

World Servants began bringing teams into the West Virginia communities in 2005. The purpose of our ministry here is to partner with local leaders to impact the community physically and spiritually for Jesus Christ.

Participants will be able to serve and bring hope to many lives through a variety of ministry opportunities as they represent Jesus and administer his loving touch.

Construction projects will consist of tasks such as installing vinyl siding, windows and doors, building a handicap ramp to a home, general clean-up, roof repair, or painting. There will also be outreach projects, determined by the Community Leader Team, like Kids' Club, Teen Mania Outreach, firewood chopping & distribution, home visits, or sports camp.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Flexibility is the key! ALL ministry/outreach activities are customized to the communities' specific needs and are specifically determined closer to the time of the trip. Our goal is to best partner with the community we are going to serve. When discussing project specifics, please remind your groups of this!

**Customized trips are available.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

For sustainable, long-term impact, World Servants staff work and live in project communities long before you arrive. A team of in-field community leaders are identified to build a vision for their community. We train and equip these leaders to successfully partner with our short-term teams in an effort to build long-term relationships.

Once the short-term mission teams leave, we continue to strengthen relationships with community leaders and identify extended opportunities for you to come alongside them as well.
