Inquire about the trip

Your team member fee is just $3285.00 US and includes round trip air travel from most major airports worldwide. You will help with light construction on a much-needed training center near Bethlehem that will soon house short and long term staff members and potentially refugee families too. The facility is about 80% complete and our team will help complete the dormitory rooms, community garden, and bomb shelter too. Your group will also tour the Holy Land just about every day and we'll learn about the culture from the premier lecturer at Jerusalem Christian University who teaches how to read the Bible from a Jewish and geographic perspective. This is a marvelous opportunity to do something BIG for God!

What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Olive trees.jpg

Your trip fee of $3285.00 US includes Round Trip airfare and travel to Germany as well from most major airports worldwide. Also included is all ground transportation, hotel and host lodging, admission to most state parks, most of your meals, and some of the materials related to the project. Commit Ministries partners with a family working among Muslims and Jews in Israel from a rural Jewish slum. You will be part of a team that helps to do light construction on a much-needed training center in a community located near Bethlehem. When finished, it will serve as their home and eventually house short and long term staff members who serve the needy. We'll also work on the dorm building so refugees can be housed eventually in a safe, caring environment. You and the team may also be doing finish work on a much-needed bomb shelter. Past team members also learn how to read the Bible geographically and from a Jewish perspective. Our work days begin early but we always find time to go on tour of the Holy Land just about every day. Commit Ministries provides pre-field and orientation training as well as debriefing before returning home. No experience is necessary; we'll train you! Time permitting, you may spend time touring Arad, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Caesarea Philippi, Capaernum, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, En Gedi, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, and maybe you'll find yourself digging for sulphur balls (as several previous teams have done) in one of the ancient cities of Sodom.

This is a very special trip and will probably change your life!

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

Our partners have been working among Jews and Arabs for 15 years, helping to bring the Good News to them as well as to refugees from other countries. They will now be able to offer their training center to those who will help them continue their ministry work and provide lodging and care to many who wish to come share their faith with locals in order to start and support local churches.
