Your trip fee of $3285.00 US includes Round Trip airfare! Our team helps with light construction on a much-needed community bomb shelter within a training center just outside of Bethlehem that will soon house short and long term staff members. The facility is about 80% completed and our team will help complete the lodging rooms upstairs, the bomb shelter itself, and some of the trim too. But it's not all work since our team will spend some days to tour the Holy Land in places like Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Capaernum, Bethlehem, Tel Aviv, and the Sea of Galilee! And we'll also learn a great deal about the culture from the premier lecturer at Jerusalem University College who will teach your group how to read the Bible from a Jewish perspective and from a geographical perspective as well.

What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

The Gethsemane Garden.jpg

Your trip fee of $3285.00 US includes Round Trip airfare! Commit Ministries partners with a large family ministry working among Arabs and Jews in Israel. You will be part of a team that helps to do light construction on a much-needed training center in the community of Bat Ayin which is located just outside of Bethlehem. Part of the project includes working to complete an urgently-needed community bomb shelter. When completed, this facitlity will serve as home, a martial arts dojo, a home for refugees, a community nursery and food source, and eventually house short and long term staff members. The center will also be home to those who will soon come in order to learn about Israel and serve the needy. You will also learn how to read the Bible geographically and from a Jewish perspective. Our work days begin early but when it gets too hot, our group will go on tour of the Holy Land just about every day and on some days, work again in the evenings. COMMIT provides pre-field and orientation training as well as debriefing before returning home. No experience is necessary; we'll train you! Time permitting, you may spend time touring Arad, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Caesarea Philippi, Capaernum, the Plain of Megiddo, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, En Gedi and the Crags of the Wild Goats, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, and maybe you'll find yourself digging for sulphur balls (as several previous teams have done) in one of the ancient cities of Sodom.
Why not visit the Holy Land and do something BIG for God at the same time!

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

Our partners have been working among Jews and Arabs for 16 years, helping to bring the Good News to them as well as to refugees from other countries. They will now be able to offer their training center to those who will help them continue their ministry work and provide lodging and care to many who wish to come share their faith with locals in order to start and support local churches.
