We Need Your Help as we Serve 

This beautiful, Spanish-speaking country has a per capita income of just under $13,000 USD. With a population of approximately 5 million people, one in every four children lives below the poverty line. Costa Rica also attracts a significant transient population, so there are many people in the tourism areas that are spiritually lost. Some stay for the week, some stay forever, but Costa Rica is a melting pot of global travelers. Drug and human trafficking put youth and women who are already vulnerable, at even greater risk.

Our local ministry partner and his family see a true need for outreach, evangelism, and community development. They live in a community of about 300 called Playa Azul and serve in surrounding towns. They have planted a church and developed a camp to reach local children. Our aim is to come alongside locals, supporting the good work they are already doing to meet physical needs while sharing the gospel.

We love seeing families serve together and invite your famliy to join us as we serve the people of Costa Rica. This family-friendly location is safe, beautiful, and has many opportunities for families and individuals of all ages to serve alongside the local church. 

Bold Hope is not only partnered for short-term missions, but is also partnered in deep, long-lasting HOPE initiatives. This means your group may come and make lasting connections through child sponsorships and the support of ongoing ministry efforts year-round. Before your trip, we will prepare you to have a significant impact during your missions experience. On your trip, you will be greeted by our friendly staff as you arrive in Costa Rica; they will guide you through the week, attending to you as you serve the people.

Sample Itinerary (subject to change):

• Day 1 – Arrive in Costa Rica, travel to ministry location, learn about ministry
• Day 2 – 5  – Awareness, projects, outreach efforts and church service
• Day 6 – Recreational day
• Day 7 – Say goodbyes, and fly home

Accomodations, Meals, and Travel:

• The pricing includes all on-ground transportation and hotel/guesthouse accomodations.
• Meals include a mixture of local and American food.
• Travel to/from Costa Rica is not included in the price.
