What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
You could study Chinese and also have English conversation with university students in an 'English corner'. This will build friendships with students with whom you can share your faith.
There are also opportunities to run a Sunday school with our team's kids.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
- You want a hands-on taste of this missions environment, and willing to put time and energy into studying the national language hard.
- You have a passion to see young people experience the love of God. You are willing to listen to God's voice, and allow Him to lead and direct you in every day encounters with Buddhists who don't know him.
About East Asia
The whole of Asia has developed rapidly over the last two decades, with huge political and economic development, along with rapid church growth.
All kinds of opportunities are opening up as Asia continues to change. God is clearly at work and WEC seeks to be in step with him, seeing the nations of East Asia reflecting God’s glory, his kingdom impacting each nation, and disciples of Jesus making more disciples.
WEC’s diverse ministry in East Asia includes missional business, education, English teaching, and development work.
