What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
God is opening doors for musicians and music students in this Hindu nation, especially those willing to learn something completely different.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
- You have adequate experience learning and playing music.
- If you have studied ethnomusicology or anthropology, that would be great but not essential.
- You have a heart for Indian people, and are interested in helping to develop ethnic worship.
- If you can also transcribe music on recordings to paper this would be an answer to prayer but not a qualification for going.
Consider staying longer in order to see a community changed and worshipping Jesus!
Most your time would be learning and practicing the local music and language, with opportunities to experience and participate in various worship times. It's exciting to see how God is opening doors for musicians and music students in this land, and we look forward to seeing how He might lead you in the future.
