COMMIT Ministries International is partnering with two of the local churches and medical partners near TURNU MAGURELE to help them provide desperately-needed medical care for elderly and people with a disability near the BULGARIAN border in a small village community build around the local church. For many people, this is the only way they will ever receive the medical care, medication and the love of Jesus they need.  In this community the younger adult population left behind their families trying to go abroad in Western and Central Europe looking for some work. That is one of the reason you will see left behind homes, relatives, elderly people, children and people in need  – struggling with poverty. For the first two days the Medical Outreach will be the top priority.

NO experience is needed! 

For the next days, you will have many opportunities in getting your hands dirty in doing indoors and outdoors light building construction work to a local Community Center Project who desperately need a kitchen put together for their feed the people project. This project brings people together from this community in joy or in sorrow, to share a meal, or to spend quality time together. This is a great opportunity to show the love of Jesus getting actively involved in the life of a small rural community. This is something huge you can do in the name of Jesus as you build solid, long-lasting relationships with the people and churches we visit. What a great way to truly grow your faith. This trip will give you a new perspective over the Eastern church culture and will definitey change your life!

After these few days spent in Turnu Magurele area, in the vicinity of the Bulgarian border, you will have the opportunity to do a little tour of Romania starting in Brasov area in Transylvania – the extremely beautiful mountain side of Romania, where you will visit Dracula's Castle known by the locals as the Bran Castle from the novel of Bram Stoker, and then to Constanta at the Black Sea shore and then to Bucharest where you will spend your last day visiting the House of the Parliament, the heaviest building ever been built by the former Romanian comunist leader – Ceausescu.
