Ministry Focus: Work Projects, Childrens Ministry, Cross-Cultural Missions, Experience a transforming summer engaged in cross-cultural ministry as you dedicate your time to serving the Lord in the Dominican Republic. This lush country, with palm trees and clear crystal blue waters, is located on the island of Hispaniola, beside Haiti and between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. It is hard to believe that in a country so near us, half of the population lives in poverty. If you have a heart for the people of Latin America and want to experience another culture, this is the team for you.

What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Your multi-faceted ministry will include helping with the children’s camp’s day-to-day activities and completing a staff house. You will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the campers through your music, puppets and drama skills. For sightseeing, you will have an opportunity to spend a day enjoying one of the Dominican Republic's many gorgeous beaches and do some souvenir shopping at a local market.

Training debriefing
Boot Camp Boot Camp is a time of training to prepare the teams for their mission fields. Our Boot Camp program is designed to build team unity and provide practical, physical and spiritual training. We tailor each Boot Camp experience according to the skills needed for each team. This primitive training will be at the Teen Missions base in Merritt Island, Florida. A Commissioning Service will be held at the end of Boot Camp for all team members and leaders before flying out to their mission field.
