What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
El Roble is a neighborhood on the outskirts of Ensenada, where thousands of young families reside. The houses are very small and made available through a government financing program. For many low-income families, this program represents their sole opportunity to own a home.
The smallest homes have just one bedroom and measure 300 square feet. Often, several family members share the same room, leaving them with minimal privacy. We have teamed up with Engineering Ministries International (EMI), who have meticulously planned the room addition and provided assistance in its execution to ensure success.
We are showing God's love by constructing this additional room so that children can have their own space, enjoy privacy, and live in dignified conditions.

Additional Trip Information
The construction project costs $7,500 and covers all materials and tools needed. Individual trip costs for the Sunday-Friday (5 night/4 day) trip are:
$395 per adult
$275 per child age 12 and under
$50 for children age 3 and under

Chuy Davalos, the founder of Agua Viva Ministries, had a passion for the lost people of Mexico and today we accomplish his vision via four aspects of ministry:
ONE: We work with U.S. partners to share Christs love to the people of Ensenada, Mexico. TWO: We have a Bible school to provide pastoral, theological, and practical ministry training. THREE: We maintain a camp facility in Ensenada, Mexico where Mexican churches hold retreats, seminars, and other events at an affordable rate. FOUR: We support missionaries throughout Mexico with the goal of planting churches in unreached areas.
