What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

short-01.jpg

A mix of camp and missions trip, Embrace is a unique missions experience.

Open to groups, families, and individuals of all ages from Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Europe and more. Participants will join a diverse team of like-minded believers who wish to serve the community of Ensenada.

Campers will be assigned to a staff-led team to work in construction, chidlren's ministry, sports programs, rehab centers, homes for the elderly, special needs ministries, homeless feeding programs, and other ministries to serve during the program.  In the evenings, bi-lingual worship allows participants to catch a glimpse of the kingdom of God, worshipping in different languages, before the guest speaker challenges them with new perspectives on missions and being a part of the global church.

Come allow God to open your eyes to new and exciting opportunities and perspectives of how he is working in the global church!

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

As each camper is placed on a mission team, they will be led by a local ministry leader for the week. Our ministry leaders come from a variety of backgrounds. A leader may be a graduate from Agua Viva’s Bible school and is leading their team to serve in the ministry which they have served during their time as a student; or a leader may be a local pastor or volunteer who has years of experience in this specific ministry context; or, a leader may be a full-time missionary who has built relationships with the community. Whichever type of leader your team is assigned, every camper will be serving under a local leader who knows where there is need, how to serve in a healthy way, and the cultural nuances of the situation.

Mission Trip Offered By Agua Viva Ministries

AGUA VIVA MINISTRIES EXISTS TO REACH MEXICO FOR CHRIST

Chuy Davalos, the founder of Agua Viva Ministries, had a passion for the lost people of Mexico and today we accomplish his vision via four aspects of ministry:

ONE: We work with U.S. partners to share Christs love to the people of Ensenada, Mexico. TWO: We have a Bible school to provide pastoral, theological, and practical ministry training. THREE: We maintain a camp facility in Ensenada, Mexico where Mexican churches hold retreats, seminars, and other events at an affordable rate. FOUR: We support missionaries throughout Mexico with the goal of planting churches in unreached areas.
