What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Do you have a heart or calling to promote reconciliation and hope where it is truly needed? Do you enjoy building relationships over the long term by giving and receiving hospitality, and through learning language and culture? Are you a native German speaker? Do you have a passion for teaching? Then come and join our team, using language teaching as a way to connect with people. As you do so and become part of local community life, your love of Christ will shine out through your actions and words, and you will discover God-ordained opportunities to share more.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
You are a native German speaker with an appropriate teaching qualification; or you are willing to work towards such if staying over a year.
You are willing to spend time building relationships with local residents across all ethnicities, in order to learn a challenging Slavic language (three dialects are used by the local community).
You will need to be willing to apply creativity, flexibility and patience, as you work within a challenging, sensitive community, holding hurts, bitterness and resentments.

It is a collaborative approach, committed to working in close cooperation with the national church and with other missions. It is above all a dependent approach, committed to full dependence on God and his exclusive power to change lives and build his Church.
