What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

DR Santiago

In Santiago, Dominican Republic you will have the opportunity to serve in one of the following ministries: Appropriate Technology, Education, Health Care, Men and Women's Sports, and Women’s Social Work.

Our style is relational and is therefore centered around our long-standing presence within the communities where we work. This may be challenging for people who expect to see immediate "results" in evangelism and project completion. As a result, however, we see outreach participants and the poor transformed into the likeness of Christ and discover their true calling.

Our Santiago base is just a few minutes from the Santiago International Airport. You’ll serve at sites located in some of the poorest communities in the country. The newly renovated base is the perfect place to relax after a day working at your site. Your excursion is a beautiful and relaxing day at the beach.

We’ve sent over 25,000 students to serve alongside our full-time missionaries in hard-to-reach communities. Those students have helped transform thousands of lives for the better. And so can you.
