There are also evening conversation clubs which help strengthen student's abilities to speak and understand English. Through teaching and conversation groups, relationships are created for opportunities to share the Hope that is in us.

What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

This is an opportunity to engage with those who have limited access to the gospel. By teaching English and helping nationals improve their English in conversation groups, you'll have the opportunity to shine the light of Christ and engage in conversation to help the nationals grow in their understanding of God.

You will teach 1-2 classes per session, with the possibility of leading a conversation group if desired.

Must be 18. You should enjoy teaching, enjoy being with people, be flexible and ready to learn from others, and be willing to live in a 3rd world environment where the “comforts of home” are not always available. Previous experience teaching English, an ESL/EFL degree or CELTA certificate is helpful, but not required. Minimal knowledge of French or Arabic is also helpful, but not required.

All interns will be assigned a pre-field mentor who will help coach them through the pre, on, and post-field journey. This typically involves connecting by phone or video call every few weeks to walk through basic pre-field ministry topics like building a partner team for prayer/financial support, safety, ministering cross-culturally, as well as providing prayer support and guidance through logistics. The intern's mentor will also setup a time to debrief and follow-up after their internship.

Mission Trip Offered By WorldVenture

Billions of people don’t know Jesus. We’re not okay with that.

More than words, they are a reminder on the wall of our main office of why we do what we do. Since 1943, God has used thousands of WorldVenture workers and partners to impact millions with the good news.
We plant churches, build clinics, educate children, train leaders, provide disaster relief, combat injustice, foster the arts, and serve the poor with economic development…in Jesus name and to make disciples.
We recruit, train, and send disciples of Jesus throughout the world who sense Gods call to give their lives to share the gospel with people who have yet to hear it. And we partner with multitudes of Christ-following disciples in engaging the world for gospel impact.
