What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
**Note: We are not a missions sending organization. That is a good thing. You will work directly with Show Mercy International and our projects, saving you a lot of money. Our goal is to build you as a person as you reach out in love to others.**
Dates: Any dates in Summer 2022 for up to 14 nights. (You do not have to be a part of a team and can come as an individual and join others who are doing the same.)
The majority of your time will revolve around participating in the ministries and outreaches Show Mercy has already established.
Some of the Show Mercy outreaches include but are not limited to:
-Working in the village schools
-Weekly children’s outreach – “Say No to Hunger”
-Weekly elderly ministry
-Village Medical Clinic outreaches
-Show Mercy Medical Center assistance
-Agriculture Projects-Rabbits, Chickens, Farming
-Home visits of children in our sponsorship program
-Administration and organization at Field of Dreams
-Team preparations and planning (for short-term teams)
Other ministry opportunities might include: handing out mosquito nets to prevent malaria, street evangelism, building or maintenance at Field of Dreams or hosting children programs in the villages during school break.
We aim to foster an atmosphere where you are encouraged to experience more of the love of the Father in your own life. Hundreds of people leave with a passion to discover the unique purpose that God has for their lives.

Through short and long-term mission opportunities, teams have the opportunity to demonstrate love to the orphaned, abused and abandoned children Show Mercy cares for in Uganda. Show Mercy works on the ground providing direct assistance that helps children, families, and communities in Uganda, Africa reach their full potential in life. We help them believe that with God ALL things are POSSIBLE! You will not be going through an outside missions organization but working directly with Show Mercy International saving you a lot of money on a quality missions trip.
