What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Cuba

You can travel to Cuba safely and legally, and we’ve taken out the guesswork. Our team has streamlined the process for visas and the license requirements to get there and back safely.

While in Cuba, you and your team will learn about what God is doing through the Cuban house-church movement. Pastors, with little to no resources, are trusting Jesus and each other, and their vibrant faith is contagious.

You may serve kids with disabilities by playing games and helping locals with simple crafts. Your team may also do some work with a local women's ministry or help engage and educate pastors. Translators are provided for the duration of your trip, allowing you to engage with local Cubans in a meaningful way.

Along the way, experience the culture through music, food, the loals, and a Cuban house-church service. Our team can also put together some opportunities for you to see historical and religious sites in Havana (additional fees may apply). Let us be your guide into this intriguing location, just 90 miles south of Florida.

Our partners in Cuba are focused on helping the Christian church thrive because they see it as the hope of change. They’re committed to supporting pastors and are connected to many different churches of many denominations. Our efforts support their heart to continue spreading faith in Jesus to every corner of the island. These partners are blessed when Americans come to Cuba not for tourism but to share, relate, and love. The blessing will be mutual, as you’ll walk away with new perspective and a new hope.

Sample Itinerary (subject to change):

Saturday – After meeting your trip leader at the ticket counter in Miami – fly to José Martí International – Havana Airport (HAV); Lunch in Havana and tour of Old Havana

Sunday – Attend a local Cuban church after breakfast, transfer to Jovellanos and have lunch at the Finca (farm); Afternoon at the beach in Varadero

Monday-Friday– Tour local churches, serve on various work projects, and see various ministry sites; evening devotions and God Sightings

Saturday – Depart for Varadero (VRA) International Airport; fly home
