What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
This programme is based in the Remote Coastal village on the Transkei Coastline, where faith based people are working hard to make a real difference in the lives of the local community.
Invest in the lives of children in rural Africa, on the magical Wild Coast of South Africa, this is a beautifully breath taking place to visit. You will get to see the famous ‘’Hole in the wall’’ and experience the true African Culture, whilst meeting some Great people. We are seeking Missions teams and Church teams to come and Join us assisting in Planting a Church, helping to build on the Missions farm, teach sports to children (Surfing and Soccer) and assist with teaching children: Child care and Youth development. Missions teams will assist the local preschool teacher at the Child Care Centre some mornings, we also need help with building of the Missions camp / Farm, building a Church, reaching out to Many Less Privileged children, (adding HOPE and LOVE into their lives), and in the afternoon their time will be split between teaching sports and planting the Church that we are establishing.
We will be glad to set up a time table alongside the leaders of the missions team or send you our current time table to see if it works for you and your team.
Education in the Transkei has stood out to be the most neglected and deprived in the whole of South Africa.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
This project ties in with the National Church. Our Missions camp is a farm where people come to disciple others and show the love of Christ to those in need. We are currently planting a Church in Coffee bay and need teams to come and assist with this.
Additional Trip Information
$15/ 12 Accommodation fee per night per person.
(Minimum Group size 10 people. Minimum stay 10 Nights).
To Reserve your place with us, we require a once off registration fee of $200 per person.
Discounts can be arranged according to the size of the Team and the duration of stay.
The Accommodation fee is Due 1 month before departure from your Country.
The Our admin team will send you proof of payment received as soon as we receive the registration fee and accommodation fee.
Please use your school / Churches/ Missions teams name on payment as a reference.
These costs above are For the team per person Camping style accommodation. The garden has natural toilet facilities and outdoor showers. There is a kitchen and outdoor fire area.
Basic orientation will be given to you on arrival into Coffee bay, a basic introduction to the Xhosa Language will be given to you on arrival. If Need be then transport on arrival and departure can be arranged from the pick up and drop off point on arrival and departure. (from Umtata shell station or the airport). This will be calculated at a price per team before arrival. The local Buses stop at the Shell Ultra station (making it an ideal pick up point).
Visas (you will get a FREE 3 months visa on entering South Africa as long as you Hold a EU, BRITISH OR USA Passport). Prices exclude flights to South Africa and Umtata airport and travel insurance. Please also budget an extra $35-$45 for food per person per week. (A fully equipped Kitchen will be provided for you and the team to use). The nearest Grocery shop is a 15 minute taxi ride away.
What additional costs will you have?
*The Missions team must provide for the following:
Visas (you will get a 3 month visa on entry to South Africa free of Charge if you hold a : UK, USA, OR EUROPE PASSPORT),
All volunteers should visit either their personal physician or a travel health clinic 4-8 weeks before departure
Mobile phone/ internet charges. A variety of mobile network carriers provide good coverage for both mobile phones as well as internet facilities. It is normally more cost effective to locally purchase pay-as-you-go air-time and data bundles compared to roaming options.
