This is a great service opportunity that redefines short-term mission trips! There is a wonderful church near Playa del Carmen that was severely battered during the last hurricane. And several families need repairs to their modest homes and are praying for help. We will do all that we can. This is a great chance to do some simple work, bless the church, and the whole community too! We will also have time to do some sightseeing in the region , visit a children's home, do some local shopping, and spend a little time at the beach! You don't want to miss this!

What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

baby with a baby.jpg

This opportunity is open to everyone and no experience is required! The team member fee is just $1385.00 and includes round trip air transportation to Cancun from most North American airports, ground transportation to Playa del Carmen and back to the airport, ground transportation daily, most meals, materials related to the project, and host lodging. You will be part of a small group helping to repair a Christian family's home and mostly damage done to the roof.  They live in a simple home within a large, squatter community (they have been allowed to use) that is located under the power lines in Las Tores.  And you can hold babies and children, build relationships with this family and dozens of other neighbors and with those attending the nearby church.  No experience is necessary and no special language skills either. This trip is a wonder-filled experience! There are tons of opportunities to build long-lasting relationships! Daily debriefing will be conducted in a devotional setting.
