What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Kids fun

Building relationships with God and with one another are guaranteed outcomes of a short-term mission trip with Belize Christian Impact Mission Trips. Your group will be able to bond not only with each other but with the people you serve, the many cultures of Belize.

You and your team have the unique opportunity to serve the people of Belize –some in the nearby villages who live with their families, and some who live in orphanages. You will be able to bring these children a message of hope and love by playing games, doing crafts, and participating in Vacation Bible School activities with them. One of the days during your mission trip, you will travel to nearby orphanages to also minister to children there.

This experience will open your eyes and allow you to share God’s love with His beloved children! Donations are encouraged as many of them lack essential toiletries, clothing items, and shoes. School supplies are also great ways to bring them support. Join us for an adventure that will touch your heart and impact your life!

Sample Itinerary:
Arrival Day – Arrive into Belize’s Philip S. Goldson International Airport; BCI transportation takes you to our Mission Base 2 hours away.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

The directors and staff of Belize Christian Impact have lived in Belize all their lives and are familiar with its needs and the churches and groups that impact those needs.
Director, Harvey Plett, is also founder and pastor of Fountain of Life church which is close to our mission base. However Belize Christian Impact works closely with the churches in the villages we minister in.

We like to love on a village for a week – paint homes, pray for families and provide for their needs and then at the end of the week have a day or two of fun together in the form of family VBS (we like to call them Fun Days)

Once the short-term mission teams leave, we continue to strengthen relationships with community leaders and identify extended opportunities for you to come alongside them as well.

Training debriefing
We gather every morning to cover each other in prayer, we ask that each team member bring a 5-minute testimony of God's work in their lives to share on one of the mornings. BCI staff will share insights, encouragements and stories. Debriefings are scheduled after particularly busy days to allow entire team to share their experience and for any emotional stress to be calmed. Prayer is a big part of our mission experience. These sessions are where we pray for and over each other and grow together to bond as a family.
