What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
“Assist us with building our Coffee bay Missions Camp followed by surfing beach time in the afternoons”.
This is the perfect opportunity to see Africa and work with the rural African people in a safe rural environment.
We have a great need for Teams and individuals to come and assist us in Building up our missions camp coffee bay. At our missions camp we welcome individuals and teams from all over the world to come and impact the local Xhosa people in Coffee bay. Our aim is to show the people in the area LOVE and to come alongside the lost and the broken bringing them into a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. We are calling anyone with a heart to build within the community to come and help out. We have a heart for the local people of coffee bay, to show them Love and to invest time into their lives. Our main current focus is Building on the Missions camp daily Monday to Friday until 3pm daily (with a tea break of 15 minutes and a 30 minute lunch break) Followed by enjoying time on beach with the youth of coffee bay from 3pm-5:30pm. We start off by doing home work with the children after school followed by their reward being to go surfing or play soccer on the beach.

Our projects all run from the local Church at the area of the Project, Our church in coffee bay is based at the Ocean view hotel on a Sunday morning. We also have church services on the Missions camp Coffee bay. Our doctrine is to LOVE GOD, LOVE GODS PEOPLE, AND ADVANCE GODS KINGDOM.

Volunteer Program Fee in the table above covers your Airport pick up on a Monday and Airport Drop off on a Monday (1ST and second Monday of the month only unless you coming as a team then pick up/ drop off will be discussed), Orientation around Coffee bay, Free use of Surf boards, Program supervision and welcoming by staff, Safe Neat and Secure Accommodation, fully equipped kitchen for your use, Project running costs.
Please note our primary currency with the pricing above is in USD rate. So please check the updated exchange rate against the USD rate if you are not from USA.
What additional costs will you have?
The Volunteer must provide for the following:
Visa (you will get a 90 days visitors visa on entry to South Africa free of Charge if you hold a : UK, USA, OR EUROPE PASSPORT. Please let customs know you are visiting on Holiday,
All volunteers should visit either their personal physician or a travel health clinic 4-8 weeks before departure
Mobile phone. A variety of mobile network carriers provide good coverage for both mobile phones as well as internet facilities. You can use your Mobile phone from abroad in South Africa. You can buy a sim card here and wi-fi for your phone. Please make sure your phone is opened up to work abroad. Face book and wattsapp works in South Africa.
Meals are not included in the fees, please budget around $50 a week for food. Transport to the shop and back is $4 per return trip.
Spending money for essentials, souvenirs, etc.
If you wish to do activities on the weekends then you will need to bring extra money for this.
flights and Travel insurance need to be booked by you at your own cost.
