What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Empower a Child Medical Camp
Come serve on a medical mission trip to Africa in 2022. During the medical outreach you will provide free medical and dental treatment to patients in rural villages of Uganda. Every summer, Empower a Child holds a medical camp for children and families in rural villages of Uganda. You can be apart of helping treat approximately 2,000 patients whether you are a medical or dental professional or just have a passion for medical missions. We need people to serve in the pharmacy, nursing, registration, doctor's assistance, dental clinic, labs, and optometry.
Costs
$1,150 covers your accommodation, transportation, 3 meals a day, airport transfers, on-staff translators, facilitation to provide the free services of medical camp, medication and medical supplies.
Your trip has the option to end with a three-day safari in one of Uganda’s national parks.

Short-term mission volunteer work alongside the staff and Ugandan volunteers during all the outreaches who carry out the programs week to week.
Additional Trip Information
Includes: Airport transfers, lodging, meals, filtered water, on-staff translators, supplies and medication for the medical camp and administration fees.
Not included: Airfare to Uganda, Uganda visa ($50), travel insurance, passport fees, vaccinations and malaria medication.
You can extend this trip to a 2, 3, 4 week trip for just $250 per week. Additional time would be spent working in primary school for oprhans and vulnerable children, children ministry and youth sports outreach or spending additional time in our medical clinic.

Mission Trip Offered By Empower a Child
Empower a Child works in Kampala and Zirobwe, Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya. We work with schools, orphanages, babies’ homes, and hospitals bringing the love of Christ to children in need. Individuals, families, friends, church groups, school groups, and college groups are welcome to join us in our weekly outreach programs for trips lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. All trips are customize-able, depending on when you would like to come.
