What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Be a part of cross-cultural ministry right here in the states, building relationships with Middle Eastern women, children, and families through teaching citizenship and English classes, tutoring, and home visits.

Requirements:
Female interns only.
Flexibility (day changes moment by moment!), learner attitude, loving heart towards their culture. Food allergies to bread would be difficult, but doable.

Responsibilities:
Interns will be given the opportunity to teach citizenship 1-on-1, help teach English in the mosque, observe driving lessons, tutor Middle Eastern children after school, and go on visits to these families to build relationships. Interns can also observe Arabic classes, and learn more about citizenship and tutoring curriculum the field worker is using. If interns have a car, the may be able to visit some of the homes on their own after their initial introduction.

Language Used: English, Arabic

Living Environment:
The field will arrange housing for the intern.

Working Environment:
Primarily in the homes of Middle Eastern women you are serving and working with.

Mission Trip Offered By WorldVenture

Billions of people don’t know Jesus. We’re not okay with that.

More than words, they are a reminder on the wall of our main office of why we do what we do. Since 1943, God has used thousands of WorldVenture workers and partners to impact millions with the good news.
We plant churches, build clinics, educate children, train leaders, provide disaster relief, combat injustice, foster the arts, and serve the poor with economic development…in Jesus name and to make disciples.
We recruit, train, and send disciples of Jesus throughout the world who sense Gods call to give their lives to share the gospel with people who have yet to hear it. And we partner with multitudes of Christ-following disciples in engaging the world for gospel impact.
