What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

65698575_2325128967575151_4385948808001880064_n

This team will spend their time in the capital of Addis Ababa serving with 2 primary ministries. Our first partner is Embracing Hope Ethiopia. Embracing Hope partners with vulnerable children and their families to see hope embraced in all life. EHE does this through a day care, school and feeding program and by focusing on basic needs empowering families, restoring dignity and spiritual care.

We will also spend time with the kids and staff at Brighton Academy. Brighton Academy is a primary school started in honor of Brighton Asher Hoffman. He passed away in an orphanage while waiting to be brought home from Ethiopia – but his 76 days of life changed everything for Laura and Tymm Hoffman, who started Brighton Their World, a ministry designed to provide formula and nutrition to babies in orphanages. Brighton Academy exists to provide a solid education, loving atmosphere, 2 meals a day and clean water to the students and families in the Shero Meda area of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

While in Ethiopia, the team will have the opportunity to experience a traditional Ethiopian meal and dance performance at a wonderful restaurant called Yod Abyssinia and you’ll get to drive up  Entoto Mountain for a breathtaking view. You will also get to experience an Ethiopian coffee ceremony which is always a treat.

Ethiopia is a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. Is God calling you to join us on this amazing adventure? Space is limited so sign up now!

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

We partner with organizations, orphanages and ministries around the world that care for children and communities. Every country is a bit different but in each case we send God’s people to come alongside our partner orphanages, communities and ministries to encourage those who are doing the day to day work, to assist in that work and help raise awareness as each partner sees fit, and above all – to love people in Jesus’ name. Our trips are about “being” rather than “doing” although we certainly want to help where we can. We believe that the best place to start is in relationships with one another.

Mission Trip Offered By Go Be Love International

Go Be Love International is a 501(c)3 nonprofit mission-supporting organization established in 2005 under the name Visiting Orphans as a way to fulfill the biblical mandate given in James 1:27 to “visit orphans and widows in their distress”. Today, our mission has expanded to include caring for families and communities, orphan prevention, and missionary care. We partner with ministries and missionaries in the US and abroad, and send short-term teams to support their efforts and meet needs on the field.
