What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Urban Plunge-56

Christ For the City International (CFCI)-Lincoln is starting an exciting new version of Urban Plunge mission trips – Refugee Plunge. Lincoln is home to Muslims, the largest population of Yazidis in the US, and many Sudanese, besides refugees from Southeast Asia, Africa, Iraq, and the Middle-East.

The Refugee Plunge will expose your team members to the unique plight of refugees and persecuted people groups in Lincoln. We believe that your group will return home with a God-given burden to reach refugees and other hurting people in your community. Our training will lead to an action plan that we hope spreads to your entire church family.

As an entity committed to being the hands and feet of Christ, Urban Plunge has a powerful vision and hope for the new Refugee Plunge. While giving those on the Plunge a life-changing experience, our team hopes to make a serious impact in the communities of refugees by demonstrating the love of God and connecting them to ministries and resources.

Loving God and loving people, the motto of CFCI, is precisely what our team prays will come about with the Refugee Plunge.

For picking out a date for your trip, you tell us what date you would like for your trip and we will check the availability of that date. We are very flexible with dates!
