What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
These trips are open to all and are especially suited to working adults, professionals, business people and semi-retired/retired people based in Asia or beyond, looking for an opportunity to develop an ongoing partnership/ relationship with local mission projects in Vietnam. This could involve a commitment to pray for, encourage, visit or financially support and bless them.
Efforts will be made to arrange for the most fruitful exposure possible during the short time on site. These efforts usually involve the local missionaries going out of their way to arrange for activities, events and ministry opportunities for the team. So be prepared:
a. For last minute changes in programs due to all possible reasons.
b. To minister to anyone whenever opportunity arises. This could include making simple conversation, praying for general blessing, praying for specific needs (e.g. healing), sharing a testimony, playing a simple game etc.
c. To function as a team to help out one another.
Ministry activities may include the following :
a. Attending local Church activities such as services, prayer meetings, praise and worship sessions, cell meetings, etc.
b. Children Ministries such as interaction with teachers and children, participating in their activities, etc.
c. Ice Breaker activities, such as games to facilitate interaction with the locals, etc.
d. Prayer walks, visits, and praying for people.
e. Conducting of training sessions for selected groups of people.
f. Village church, village, house and/or family visits.
g. Sharing refreshments and meals together with locals.
Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
The team will come alongside a vibrant local church and help serve, refresh and encourage local leaders, full time workers. Relationships established will be for the longer term, to continue to support and pray for the local church to grow and be more effective in reaching out to the own people in Vietnam.

Mission Trip Offered By World Outreach International
World Outreach International exists to impact Least Reached People groups with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our mission and goals are accomplished through establishing partnerships with the Body of Christ worldwide in order to engage in transformational discipleship among least-reached people groups. A variety of ministry approaches are used to meet specific needs. We are currently ministering among 75 such people groups on five continents and have the goal of impacting at least 20 new ethnic communities every five years. World Outreach International has five major ministry focuses through which the Gospel is being established among Least REACHed People groups: Raising Leaders, Evangelism and Church Planting, All Nations Mobilization, Children’s Ministry, Humanitarian Aid.

- Amount includes all local ministry travel expenses, all local meals and twin sharing accommodation in a budget hotel.
Travel fares to and from Ho Chi Minh City Airport, and Visa fees(if any) are to be borne separately on top of the US$500.

- There will be some pre-trip preparation that will be needed and participants are strongly encourage to familiarize themselves with the preparation activities. Such activities may include :
a. Reading material that will provide information on the places and people that the team is visiting.
b. Preparing a testimony, a short sharing.
c. Learning some songs, game activities for purpose of interaction.
d. Collecting, cleaning and packing items from donors and friends that can be a blessing to the ministry and people we are visiting.
e. Go through check lists to ensure that all administrative arrangements are made correctly.
f. Skype calls among team leader / members.
