What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Belize and the Dominican Republic: two beautiful Caribbean paradises famous for their beaches and resorts, both steeped in poverty and brokenness. Come as a group or make new lifelong friends as an individual as we share the grace and healing of the Gospel!
Church culture in the Dominican Republic tends to focus on rules and righteous appearance instead of knowing Jesus personally and following Him in Christian community. Join us as we partner with pastors of local churches with a vision to share the grace of God.
Under the highly advertised beauty of Belize, 49% of children live under the poverty line. Island and jungle communities struggle with a lack of basic medical care. Hurting and broken families are looking for caring arms. Come alongside local ministries in this under-served country, ravaged by hurricanes and severe poverty, to offer physical and spiritual healing in mobile medical clinics- no medical training needed!
Ministry for Week 1 & 2:
Partner with local churches for community outreach
Serve food to those living in the city trash dump
Share Gospel presentations in schools and villages
Ministry for Week 3 & 4:
Fly to Belize and assist with 1 week of mobile medical clinics (no medical training required)

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
RIM partners with local churches in the poorest areas of Santo Domingo and Belize City. Many of these congregations are young or church-planters. Our teams help broaden their evangelistic outreach as well as train church members to share Christ effectively. Many of our outreaches involve teams and church members going out into communities together. We share the good news of the Gospel’s grace and the opportunity for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, inviting believers into their local church community for long-term discipleship.
