What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Are you passionate about teaching? Why not consider teaching abroad in North Africa? Teach workers’ kids of all ages or assist in a multicultural classroom. Positions are available for a variety of subjects, grade levels and skill levels.The most immediate needs are for middle school-level special education in all subjects, and high school-level biology, literature and computer. From those who are certified teachers, to those who just want to help out in a classroom, Christar offers many venues to share the love of Christ.

Lodging and Meals
The cost of a short-term trip ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 or more, including the cost of airfare, travel insurance, training, in-country expenses and more. Each trip budget is determined by the field host. You will need to raise 50 percent of the cost of your trip no later than two months prior to your departure date. The remainder must be raised no later than three weeks prior to your departure. If you don’t raise your full support, you will be responsible to cover the remaining cost out of pocket.
