What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Share the love and hope of Christ to people in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest nations in the world! This can be an experience both stretching and rewarding…even life changing for you–and the people that live there!
Give water…..give LIFE! What a way to demonstrate the love of God! Turning on a faucet and obtaining clean water is easy for us….and even taken for granted. But can you imagine having to go look for water?!
Many people (usually women and children) have to walk for 3-4 miles (or more) round trip to retrieve water. Unfortunately the water source is not sanitary–probably contaminated by animal waste. And that poses another set of problems! Diarrhea is now the second largest killer of children under five, second only to malaria.
We are in need of skilled well drillers to assist in this project and help train more national workers.
