Who are we? Founded in 1989, MOST Ministries is a short-term Christian mission agency providing links between committed Christians seeking international opportunities to live out their faith in conjunction with missionaries and national churches throughout the world. It is our commitment to the Great Commission that compels MOST Ministries to go to all nations for the sake of the Gospel. Missionaries and national churches in Central and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia request short-term teams to help them accomplish their strategic ministry priorities for bringing people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ – and MOST Ministries facilitates those teams. Project requests include: medical teams, dental teams, eyeglass clinic teams, construction, men’s ministry, women’s ministry, youth ministry, children’s ministry, HIV/AIDS ministry, depression awareness and suicide prevention, hospice care, English as a Second Language – and more. Core Values: We are committed to the following values: Being Gospel-Centered Being Field-Focused Facilitating Empowering Relationships Modeling Servanthood Pursuing Excellence
MOST Ministries is committed to impacting the world for Jesus Christ through short-term missions by “empowering the Found in reaching the Lost.”
Why Use MOST Ministries?
Congregations and individuals choose MOST Ministries to help them facilitate their short-term mission experience for several reasons:
Experience: In the past 17 years, MOST Ministries has sent over 200 teams – almost 3000 team members -- to some 30 countries around the world. These teams have touched the lives of over 80,000 people with the love of Jesus in word and action.
Gospel Focus: No matter what the specific project may be, every MOST Ministries mission experience includes sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through a clear Gospel presentation. When we work in a country that does not allow gospel witness by foreigners, we respect the laws of that country and rely on believers within the country to take the lead in any witness opportunity.
Trained Team Leaders: Every MOST Ministries team is led by a trained team leader, thoroughly knowledgeable in our team process, crisis management and managing on-the-field relationships. They serve as wonderful spiritual leaders and encouragers for the team.
Strategic Service and Attention to Detail: Our Team Administrators communicate with missionaries and national church partners around the world to identify their strategic ministry needs, define team projects, and arrange all of the project and travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, food, transportation, visas, travelers insurance, etc.
Commitment to Safety and Security: MOST Ministries daily monitors safety and security issues around the world so that none of our teams face undue risk on the field. We register all our teams with the U.S. embassy in the country where they will travel, have staff on call 24/7 when teams are on the field, and have an international medical doctor on call 24/7 as well. In addition, we have more than 25 nursing protocols in place for the most common illnesses that can happen on the field and approved medical bags for all our teams.
Choosing MOST Ministries to facilitate your short-term mission team means choosing an experienced, full-service organization that will give your team the safest, most secure, life-impacting and life-transforming mission experience possible. Call us at 734-994-7909 or email us at [email protected]
MOST Ministries believes:
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, living and active, with the power to transform our lives.
There is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is both true God and true man, who was born of a virgin, died on Calvary and rose from the dead on Easter for the redemption of human sin.
Salvation is a gift from God received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, not the result of good works.
There is a resurrection of the saved and the lost – the saved into eternal life with God and the lost into eternal damnation.
The Holy Spirit dwells in the Christian and enables him/her to live a sanctified, godly life and to perform service pleasing to the Lord.
The Church is the Body of Christ and it is our duty and privilege to fellowship with one another and in peace to love one another with pure hearts.
God adopts us as his children through the gift of Holy Baptism.
God forgives our sin and celebrates our fellowship with him and each other through the body and blood of Jesus given in, with and under the bread and wine in the Lord’s Supper.
