Haiti Missions

Full Description:
Projects vary depending on skill level of groups. We will work to repair, rebuild churches, orphanages and schools damaged and or destroyed in the earthquake. Teams will serve in and around the Port-Au-Prince area. There is an unlimited amount of ministry and need! God is at work in Haiti, we invite you to join Him!

Who: Earthquake relief to churches, schools and orphanages. All of Haiti has been impacted by this disaster.

Comments: Team leaders receive pre-field and post-field training curriculum and each team member receives corresponding training material.

Youth On Mission and its partner ministries are working to rebuild and repair a network of local churches, schools and orphanages damaged and destroyed in the earthquake.

Participant Information, Recommendations, Requirements:
Participant Age: College and Adult
Eligible to Go: Groups [max size 20]
Education / Experience: Skilled labor, construction, demolition, electrical, engineering, etc needed.
Languages:
Other: Pack light! Bring three to four changes of clothing. $100 or less of spending money will be plenty unless you are bringing extra cash to buy donation supplies with. Sleeping conditions may vary in your ministry city, so be prepared to sleep on the ground or in rough environments. Most common items needed on the trip include: flashlight, sunscreen, towel or wash cloth, snacks or protein bars, bug spray, sleeping bag or tent, and toiletries. Also, it is a good idea if everything you bring for your own needs fits in a backpack.
