Full Description:
•Works within the local church’s structure, values and pattern of ministry geared to the local community.
•Works in a coordinated way with the Pastor and Associate as part of the Outreach, Children, and Youth teams.
•Works within and helps develop church and community partnerships.
•Develops and implements a program of English instruction classes for interested church members and as an outreach to townspeople.
•Shares in and helps to develop work with youth (age 12+ years) in the church.
•Participates in the general life and witness of the church.
•Takes responsibility for his/her own spiritual development by participating in and praying for the life of the church.

Alongside requires an extensive application and training process, with spiritual, cultural, emotional, psychological, and (when necessary) language training.

Alongside Ministries is supported through the faithful giving of friends and partners in Europe and the US. Personal fundraising for this position will be required, however administrative and communications support is also provided to this position to assist with personal support network.
Fair salary and benefits are unique to each assignment and are determined with the inviting body.

Demonstrates a passion for and a giftedness in evangelism. Exhibits spiritual maturity as well as a desire to be trained in cross-cultural ministry. Willingness to learn Albanian language is required. Able to take personal initiative in assigned areas of English instruction program as well as work under the leadership of a team of local leaders. College experience is required; ESL training/experience is strongly preferred. Computer skills and youth ministry experience are a strong plus. Must be over 22 years of age. Minimum 1 year commitment with option to extend.
