Street ministry, mimes and dramas draw great crowds for ministry and medical teams are in great demand. This experience is heart wrenching, yet so rewarding, as you share your heart with the island people of the Dominican Republic. Work with beautiful children in a predominantly Haitian refugee village. Visit with, sing for, pray for and bring smiles to children in a local hospital. Help one of many churches that could use some fix up work. Hold a vacation Bible school. Many, many ministry opportunities exist here.

Team leaders and members will receive a leaders/member manual prior to trip date with organizational rules and guidelines. Some training/orientation will be provided on field as well as some debriefing upon conclusion of the trip. Additional training and/or debriefing is the responsibility of the team leader. Online or resident training is available upon special arrangement.

Global Outreach has years of experience in this country and has built relationships with local churches and works alongside of the local church. In the Dominican Republic, we have contacts with full-time missionaries living in the area and are working with the churches on a continual basis.

Trip is for seven days and six nights. Overnight accommodations may range from home stays to staying at a church, price includes two meals a day. Hotel or resort stays can be arranged for additional fees. Transportation to site is not included. Upon arrival ground transportation is included.

Applications must be received 60 days prior to planned departure. Applications can be downloaded from our website and mailed or faxed. We will send you the requested information with a prospect sheet asking for potential dates, location of your trip and group size. We will then work with you to help determine the right date for group's trip.
