Full Description:
Last year we had 12 decisions for Christ and spurred the local church in their outreach efforts. Fun, encouraging, and life-changing.
Your task: man a booth, give away cocoa/lemonade, face paint, children's craft activities, draw balloon animals, mime, puppets, music. Use your artistic talent for the Lord. Also, local service projects in community !
Itinerary
Sunday May 20 Arrive in Anchorage late evening
Mon May 21 Sightsee in Anchorage
Tues May 22 Pack/sightsee on way to Homer:
Arrive at Ferry by 7 pm
Board Ferry for Kodiak Departure 9:30 pm
Wed May 23 Arrive Kodiak 10:00 am
Settle into Lodging/onsite orientation
Prayer Walk/Read Word over the Docks
Light Construction / Service Projects
Thurs May 24 Construction, service projects
Fri May 25 Crab Fest Outreach
Sat May 26 Crab Fest Outreach
Sun May 27 Church Service / Crab Fest Outreach
Mon May 28 Board the Kennicott Ferry 4:30 am
Arrive Homer 1:30 pm; drive to Anchorage.
Freshen Up/dinner meal (eat out, dutch treat)
Depart from Anchorage late evening

Kodiak Island is located in the Alaskan Gulf. It is home to some of the largest brown bears in the world, but no worries... they like salmon more than you, and there's plenty of salmon to go around!

Aid host church, Frontier Baptist Church, in reaching out to their community at a public event. This project is strategy of North American Mission Board missionaries in collaboration with the local church.

Price includes van rental, gasoline, marine ferry ticket, most meals, ministry supplies. Bedding Provided: air mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, & pillow case.
Groups will travel together to Whittier/Homer in 15 passenger vans and ferry to Kodiak.
If you choose to fly direct to Kodiak and circumvent the Anchorage/Ferry portion of this trip, your cost is $500 + air. If you choose to fly into Kodiak, You must arrive in Kodiak on Wednesday May 23 and depart Monday May 28.

2. Send in $50 deposit with reservation form;
3. Secure your airline tickets according to the itinerary above; tickets are cheaper the earlier you secure them. Do this ASAP. Early bird affords the trip. Late birds have to cancel because airfare sky-rockets.
4. Send in balance by May 1 ($700).
