Full Description:
The purpose of this mission is to conduct Vacation Bible Schools in impoverished Gypsy farming villages in the Transylvania region of Central Romania. A small medical and dental clinic will be conducted in conjunction with each Bible school. The work will be in support of evangelical mission churches in the villages. The goal is to strengthen the presence of the church in the village.
Team members will fly together from a major hub in the USA to Amsterdam and then on to Romania. Accommodations will be a hotel in the town of Medias. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel. Lunch will be prepared by the churches and served on the field. Open to healthcare professionals, healthcare students, lay people, families and youth groups. Tours of Romanian cultural sites will be available on the last day in-country.

Pre-field training consists of a detailed mission manual, pre-trip devotional guide, and frequent communication with Team Leader. A team orientation and training meeting will be held on the first day in-country. Post-field debriefing is in the form of a 14 day post-trip devotional guide and written feedback from team members.
