Full Description:
The purpose of this mission is to conduct medical and dental clinics in small farming villages in the mountains north of Cusco. The work will also include evangelism activities, public health teaching, and installation of large volume water purification units. This mission will minister primarily to Quechuen Indians (descendants of the ancient Incas) and is in support of American missionaries working in the region.
Team members will fly from the USA to Lima and then on to Cusco. Team headquarters will be a hotel in Cusco. Breakfast and dinner will consist of restaurant meals. Lunch will be served on the field. Open to healthcare professionals, healthcare students, lay people, families and youth groups. Optional tours of Cusco, Machu Pichu, and the Inca Markets will be available on the last day in-country.

Pre-field training consists of a detailed mission manual, pre-trip devotional guide, and frequent communication with Team Leader. There will be an orientation and training meeting the first day in-country. Post-field debriefing consists of a 14 day devotional guide and written feedback from team members.

CERT has a long-term partnership with an American missionary and a national church in this area. We are also in our second year of a five year community development project in five villages in the region.
