Full Description:
Costa Rica-a beautiful country but with so much need! Medical clinics, children's ministry, construction and evangelism can be the focus of these trips. Make this an opportunity to shine for Christ!
You will be hosted by GOM missionaries at “El Jardin Sagrado” ("The Sacred Garden"), a retreat centre owned by Global Outreach Mission. This retreat centre is situated in the picturesque Orosi Valley, south of the capital city, San Jose. This centre is used for local outreach and as a retreat center for the national churches.
Construction work is still needed to complete a brand new team house building.
Medical teams will travel to areas within the central valley to hold medical clinics for those who have little or no access to proper medical care. Many fields of medical personnel have opportunities in these medical clinics including doctors, nurses, paramedics, physio-therapists, physician’s assistants, dentists etc.
Children's ministry can be held in conjunction with the medical clinics very effectively but opportunities also exist in a local orphanage or at the retreat center.
