Missionary Support Staff - Orphans, Indigenous, Disabled

Full Description:
Join Genesis Diez, A.C. (Genesis) on staff as we invite the children (niños) of orphanages and/or indigenous migrant families to participate in camps and activities throughout the year. The niños, ages 4 through 14, participate in enriching educational activities alongside visiting groups (amigos) from the United States and Canada. Many of the niños lack one-on-one attention. Genesis recognizes the importance of giving the niños time and pouring unconditional love into them. The Amigo-Niño program, pairs the niños up with an amigo, allowing the individuals to develop a relationship as they participate in arts and crafts, sports, hikes, going to the beach and many other activities. It is a life changing program for both. At these events there are a variety of activities to build positive self esteem, leadership skills and Christian spiritual growth. The niños are also given the opportunity to understand and appreciate the beauty of God’s world and learn how to care for the environment, plants, and animals He created.

Please join our support staff and help us facilitate these life changing experiences!

Our year round programs:
"Amigo / Nino Program"- is a church mission trip / camp experience.
"Into School Program"- helping the indigenous poor into school.
"Food and Prayer Program"- helping the poor indigenous families.
"Disabled Children Care"- We have 3 children in our care.
"Field Trips"- visiting museums/cultural centers, theatre, tourist attractions, hiking or an afternoon in a park.
"Story Time"- uses Bible stories /Christian books to enforce a specific value (honesty, friendship, respect) strengthened with Bible verses, and allows the niños to discover individual strengths.
"Big Events"- Genesis hosts several one-day Big Events for the niños of the Orphanages in Baja North, and from the migrant communities.
"Community Outreach"- Genesis helps schools, rehabilitation centers, churches, and shelters with a variety of donations (school supplies, food and clothing).
"Distribution of Donations"- Genesis distributes these donations based on the known needs of orphanages, the migrant community and local schools.
"Consultations, Medical & Administrative Support"- We consult about different government policies and registrations. Assistance is also given to help niños obtain the necessary legal documents and passports to receive medical care in the United States.
