Full Description:
God has called CAM International to minister in many different areas of Guatemala, but primarily in Guatemala City, Patzun, Chimaltenango and Solola. After many years of effective church planting in Guatemala, CAM’s strategy in Guatemala is to partner with national believers in local churches, schools, and seminaries to provide leadership development, education, & other support ministries such as construction, camp ministry, and ESL. As CAM missionaries Johnny and Maria are serving at Centennial Camp as they help to build the camp and work with others to organize its programming. They aim to serve the churches of Guatemala by providing them with a camp that many different churches can use for retreats, summer camps, and more. Although Christianity is widespread in Guatemala (17% evangelical), many people remain who need to understand the gospel of Christ and many churches are in need of basic shelter, trade skills, and community activities. The Christians in Guatemala need training, encouragement, discipleship, and mentoring to help them grow in their walk.

Preliminary Questionnaire:
This is used to give us basic information about you and give you opportunity to indicate to us how you feel the Lord is leading you. Upon approval of the PQ, and if you request it, we send you a formal application packet.
Formal Application:
You are asked to provide us with a brief life story (autobiography), photograph (for identification purposes), $50 application fee, personal background information sheet, medical history summary on each family member plus medical exam, academic transcripts, and a separate doctrinal statement from each adult.
References & Various Items:
Upon receipt of the application form, we contact the six references you have listed and possibly some secondary references, (as well as collect the various papers described above). This can take several weeks, depending on how quickly these papers are received.
