Full Description:
Missionary Trainee – Teach English and/or use the arts to assist a vibrant Japanese church in planting six new churches. Work under the leadership of an experienced church planter and study Japanese.
This trip is for those who are looking for a window of opportunity to serve during the summer and use their gifts and skills to make a lasting contribution to the Kingdom of God around the world. You will be primarily serving alongside career TEAM missionaries and assisting in their ministry.

Orientation lasts one week and covers topics such as cross-cultural adjustment and sensitivity, evangelism, servanthood, maintaining spiritual health overseas, travel safety, team building dealing with expectations, TEAM's history, finances, interpersonal relationships, donor relations, ministry specific training, culture shock, etc.
Debriefing covers topics such as dealing with met and unmet expectations, conflict resolution, closure, next steps, etc.

This ministry will help you get a taste of what long term ministry is like in Japan. This trip will also help you get a vision for establishing reproducing churches among the least reached.
