:: PIONEERS
Full Description:
Be a part of a 12,000 volume library project in Bosnia! The library is part of a larger center that facilitates ESL classes, seminars and other community activities. A great opportunity to serve Christians and Muslim neighbors. Currently the library is only open 2 days a week for 6 hours each day, and the team there would like to extend the hours and have a full time person at the library and ministry center. There are also other cross-cultural ministry opportunities and language learning opportunities in this city. The city is 90% Sunni Muslim though mostly non-religious or secular.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals: |
|
The history of Bosnia & Hercegovina has been filled with battles, both literal, and spiritual. Though many of its people claim a religious heritage, very few personally know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. Despite the last several years of outreach there are still very few evangelicals in Bosnia, as it is still known as Europe’s least evangelised country. God has laid it upon our hearts to help change this bleak history, and bring the light of the Gospel to these dear people. There is a team working long term there in church planting.
