Uganda, Africa- 2012- Entebbe & Jinja Town

Full Description:
BELIEVERS WORLD OUTREACH TRIPS INCLUDE INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE
Uganda.

June 15-29, 2012

Unique situation:

Uganda has endured the scourge of civil war and a deadly AIDS epidemic which has nearly wiped out an entire generation.

unique need

Basic living necessities for their orphans.

We will partner with local area churches along with Calvary Chapel of Jinja, to create four teams: orphanage, construction, medical, and outreach. We will help relieve some of the stress of their day to day living through construction as well as lend a hand to hold, hug, love and care for these precious children. We will travel to fields, villages, schools, and prisons for outreach in drama, VBS, and sports and evangelism.

Jinja & Entebbe
o Jireh Children’s Center is an orphanage in the mountains, where over 150 children live and attend school.
o Amani Baby Cottage is a home to as many as 70 orphaned babies at any given time.
o The Village of Kayiriki and Kiyumba are rural communities where a Christian church has recently been established.

You are unique…

BWO believes that uniqueness is hard-wired into every human being. God created each of us to be uniquely ourselves. Why not let God take our unique blend of gifts, talents, skills, personality, background, and life experiences, and fully express who we have been born to be: a child of God, loving all kinds of people from all kinds of places that have all kinds of needs.

Here’s a look at a few of the different skills used on a BWO missions trip. Does a few of these sound like you?
o Hold a baby
o Paint a door
o Sweep a floor
o Share the love of Jesus
o Sing a Song
o Hammer a nail
o Pick up trash
o Kick a soccer ball
o Change a diaper
o Share the story of Jesus
o Wipe a nose
o Hold an orphan
o Feed a baby
o Read a book
o Play a game
o Paint fingernails

MORE DETAILED INFORMATION:
In Jinja, we will divide our time between the Amani Baby Cottage home to approximately 70 orphans from infant to 5 years of age and Calvary Chapel of Jinja. We will show the love of Christ to this community through evangelism, construction, medical, and orphanage ministry. Calvary Chapel of Jinja has an incredible training center, school, orphanage, and prison ministry they run through their church campus. We are very privileged to partner with them in Jinja.

In Entebbe you will travel by banana shaped boat to small indigenous islands off the coast of Entebbe, on Beautiful Lake Victoria. There these islands/ fishing villages, have literally been abandoned by the Ugandan community. As you arrive you will see Rickety shacks made of wood, malnourished children wearing torn, soiled clothing, and some with no clothing at all. These islands are far cry from the fun, sun and umbrella drinks we often think of when we picture visiting an island. However, in the midst of the suffering, the Gospel goes out. Hundreds of these beautiful children will greet you. You can be a part of hosting a VBS, speaking at their school, medical clinics, and hut to hut evangelism.
Jesus dwells among the least of these.

Believers World Outreach (BWO) is all about the needs that exist in the target countries. We want to celebrate people while establishing Christ-centered community everywhere we go. Working closely with the missionaries already in the country, we create a custom game plan for ministry in that specific place. Then, we connect the dots between the gifts and skills of willing people (like you) to meet those needs. We want to create an unforgettable experience for the people, the missionaries, and you.
So take a look at the countries and the trips, and take a look inside your heart. And then ask yourself, why not!?
