Full Description:
The Easter season is the perfect time to penetrate the Mexican culture with the life changing truth of the resurrected Christ. The city of Reynosa, Mexico, is in desperate need of a change. Each year individuals and families come for a time of “hands on” missionary work during our Mexico Easter Outreach. The news that Jesus is alive can be heard on every corner of the city as you proclaim His resurrection during the week preceding Easter. During this “Holy Week” many Mexicans are on vacation giving you every opportunity to share about the hope that is in you.
The Calvary Commission Missions Center coordinates these outreaches and is located in Hidalgo, Texas. Hidalgo is situated one mile from the International Bridge. Our guest workers stay at the Josiah and Bethany Children's Homel. Families may stay together.
There will be two meals (lunch and dinner) prepared for you by our staff. Those meals are included in your registration. You may want to bring your own snacks and drinking water, along with breakfast foods.
Continental and American Airlines serve McAllen, Texas. Greyhound Bus Lines also arrives in McAllen. If you drive, you may park your car at our base in Hidalgo, Texas. The Texas Highway 281 takes you south all the way to Mexico. Upon entering Hidalgo, turn left at the Valero Stripes Store and proceed to 401 South Bridge Street to the Calvary Commission base.
A passport is required for re-entering the United States. For those 18 and under not traveling with parents, written parental permission to enter Mexico is needed. Inoculations are not required.

The cost of the outreach is $295.00 per person. A $25.00 deposit is required for reservation.
Only in a family situation with an adult family member will we give a discount rate as follows:
Ages 14+ $295.00
Ages 8 - 13 $85.00
Ages 4 - 7 $50.00
Ages 3 & under No charge
A parent must accompany children in order to qualify for the family prices. Decisions concerning this outreach have been made in effort to include as many people as possible. Please return your application promptly. If your situation requires special consideration, please explain.

We will furnish the meals and transportation inside Mexico. Continental and American Airlines flies into McAllen, Texas and we will meet your flight. If you plan to drive your car, you may leave it in a secured area on the Texas side of the border at our missions center.

You will be able to be an Easter Missionary and work with our Josiah and Bethany Children's Home that was named after Keith Green's Children who died with him in the airplane crash in 1982. You will work with our established local church and assist them in their vision for reaching the city.
