What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

JAM04 Caribbean Lifetime Missions can facilitate your summer camp at our Bamboo Location. Our facility can hold up to 100 people at a time. Our one-time fee will cover your lodging, transportation and food. All you have to do is bring your team of students. Create a once in a lifetime summer camp opprtunity for your students. A camp filled with volunteer work, music and sports ministries, orphanage visits and if you are up to it, maybe some construction work.

You may choose your own schedule, location, and dates for your trip (certain restrictions apply). Our network of over 350 churches throughout the Caribbean offers you the opportunity to serve in the activities that best match your group's make up in areas like spiritual gifts, talents, and skills. The trip is 100% customizable giving you the flexibility you need to minister only in the areas you choose for your group.

Come see the other side of paradise... the side not advertised on TV. Give your students the chance to shine, and we promise their lives will never be the same. Create this unique opportunity for your students to see the big picture... and see HOW God is working on a global level.

Travel Requirements:

Passports - All participants must have a valid Passport.

Insurance - We recommend that all participants carry or purchase personal medical insurance. Caribbean Lifetime Missions can provide International Medical Insurance coverage. This insurance is in addition to personal coverage and is for emergencies only. Please call our office for details.

Arrival/Departure Taxes – These taxes are almost always included in the price of your airfare. Verify the status with your travel agent/airline before traveling.

Immunizations Required - Updated U.S. immunizations are sufficient

Day-Off – All our trips include a day-off of fun activities and sightseeing.

Food & Housing - Some of the accommodations are rustic. However, the team will NOT sleep on the floor of a church or rented home. The minimal accommodations provided for the team will be camping type: team members will sleep on bunk beds and have indoor bathroom facilities. Electricity is available and identical with the US system. At camp locations rain water tanks will provide for all shower needs - all water is cold. Safe drinking water will be provided, and all of the food will be prepared by local cooks according to Caribbean cuisine.

Climate - During the summer months the climate is hot and humid with occasional afternoon downpours in the mountains. Average summer temperatures are typically in the high 90's during the daytime and drop only into the 70's at night. There will not be any air conditioning available for your group with the choice of camp lodging.
