SERVE IN KENYA AT AN ORPHAN SCHOOL & HOST A MEDICAL CLINIC: DEBRIEF in Black Forest, June 4-21, 2013

Full Description:
YOUR TRIP FEE of $5285.00 INCLUDES RT AIRFARE! You will help with a high school project in western Kenya, assist with a medical outreach, and debrief in the Black Forest of Germany. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve Jesus among some of the areas of greatest need in rural Kenyan communities where HIV/AIDS has orphaned nearly 70% of the children. You will take part with a team that is forming to help construct much-needed classrooms at a rural high school started as a result of the vision of area churches, parents, and the local authorities. Experience is not ever required even if you just wish to teach a class or two, play with the children, or hold babies! We also need those who know construction, brick work, block work, plumbing, solar, concrete workers, electricians, medicine, doctors, nurses, first aid, and other related fields. After all, we don't know everything and need your help! We do however, have very qualified team leaders to help you learn how to do much of the needed work. We will also partner with the local hospital for a one or two-day medical outreach and for many in these communities, it's the first time they've ever received primary care in a loving, caring atmosphere. This team will also visit an orphan home and take a game drive at a national game park for a safari to view wild animals in their natural habitat. Once we have completed the mission, the team will then fly to Zurich Switzerland and take a vehicle or train to Triberg, Germany which is in the heart of the Black Forest. We'll spend a portion of the day in debriefing in partnership with one of the local churches in order to process what God was teaching us while we were in the field. We'll spend two nights at one of the local hotels and one full day to allow you to journey by foot, car, or train with other team members to see the local villages such as Triberg, Schonach, or Schonwald. This is a wonderful time of reflection in one of the most scenic areas on Earth. There are lots of hiking opportunities too, Germany's tallest waterfall, and you can also visit other Black Forest towns by taking the train. It may be possible for you to arrange to stay longer in Europe once the team has left for home but this must be arranged in advance.
