STEM will lead and prepare your short-term mission team to serve in the Caribbean, South and Central America, Asia as well as here in the U.S. in urban Minneapolis, and the Gulf Coast to help with Katrina relief efforts.
Partner with STEM for an outreach that includes activities in each of the following areas: Evangelism, Construction, and Mercy/Service ministry. We welcome all ages. Our field hosts provide ministry and service opportunities for all skill levels. Activities may include: construction, children's ministry, visits to orphanages and nursing homes, prayer-walking, music, worship, medical/healthcare, and/or sports ministries. Join us for an experience that will change your life!
STEM will handle all the logistical details for you, including providing on-site, thorough training and experienced leadership.

Purpose Statement:Through the process of short-term mission, STEM encourages Christians to discover God's purpose for the world and fulfill their strategic role in His global plan. Purpose Explanation: We exist to bring ever-increasing glory to God, by making disciples from every tribe, tongue and nation! Our passion is to mobilize ever-increasing numbers of Christians to reach the world's remaining peoples still hidden from the Gospel of Christ, by providing North American Christians of any age or church a two-week, short-term mission challenge in the Caribbean, Central and South American nations. We strive to make our hands-on mission as strategic, accountable, life-giving, and heart-changing as possible -- both from the going/sending perspective and the field/receiving perspective as well. STEM is a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and the Evangelical Fellowship of Mission Agencies (EFMA). Doctrinal Statement:
WE BELIEVE IN...1. The divine inspiration and consequent authority of the whole canonicle Scripture as the inerrant and only Word of God. 2. The doctrine of the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 3. The fall of man and his consequent moral depravity and need for regeneration. 4. The atonement for sin through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ. 5. The doctrine of justification by faith. 6. The regeneration and renewal of man through the work and presence of the Holy Spirit in his life. 7. The resurrection of the body, both in the case of the just and the unjust. 8. The eternal life of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost, as described in Scripture. We also accept the basic tenets of faith as expressed in one or more of the following historically-recognized Creeds/Confessions/Covenant: The Apostle's Creed, The Nicene Creed, The Augsburg Confession, The Westminster Confession, The Lausanne Convenant.
