"Arms of Love for Christ". Genesis provides educational learning experiences for orphans and indigenous children in Baja California Mexico. Our prayer for these children is they will achieve a positive self-image, express their potential and understand Christ's love. Our Mission trips are balanced with construction, VBS, devotions, great food, and praising the Lord in song around the evening fire.

Mission/Vision Statement:
Genesis helps Orphans, Migrant Indigenous & Disabled Children of Mexican achieve positive self-image, express their potential and understand Christ's love.
Doctrinal Statement:
We believe that God exists and is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe that Jesus Christ was blessed by Him and reconciled us to God by his death on the cross and that the Holy Spirit dwelled in Jesus Christ and is a source of life that is poured out on those who believe. We believe God is pleased with all those who draw near to him by their faith. We believe that Scripture was inspired by God through the Holy Spirit and is the authoritative Word of God for instruction in salvation and the standard for Christian faith and life. Therefore, we believe that God created Heaven and Earth and that God preserves, renews, and wants us to respect what has been made. We also believe that God created human beings and gave them the ability to form a relationship with him, to live in peace, and to take care of the rest of creation. We confess that humanity has disobeyed God and has fallen far short of the Creator's intent by disrupting order and peace in the world, disrespecting his creation, and limiting their love for others. However, we believe that God offers salvation from sin and a new way of life through Jesus Christ. We believe that a church is an assembly of those who have accepted God's offer of salvation through faith and is established and sustained by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the mission of any church is to be a continuing example of the kingdom of God in the world and to work with all nations, governments, cultures, and societies to teach his commandments and share his saving love. We believe that the Lord's Supper is a sign by which we thankfully remember the new covenant with God which Jesus established by his death. We believe that in washing the feet of his disciples, Jesus calls us to serve one another in love as he did, let go of pride and worldly power, and offer our lives in humble service. By extension, we believe that ministry is a continuation of the desire of Christ in the world and is accountable to God and to the communities of faith. We believe that Jesus Christ taught each of us to act through the gift of God's saving grace, which separates us from the evil in the world. We believe that to be a child of God is to know life in the Spirit, which is active in individual reflection, communal worship, and service that leads us deeper into the experience of God. As a symbol of this experience, we believe that the baptism of believers with water is a sign of their cleansing from sin and a pledge of their covenant with God. We believe that God intends human life to begin and be blessed through families, which give and receive nurturing and healing so that all people can experience God's love. Therefore, we commit ourselves to help those without the blessing of family, live in faithful stewardship, and believe that everything belongs to God who entrusts us to act with charity, justice and mercy. We believe that peace is the will of God, which was revealed in Jesus Christ, who acted to bring peace to the whole world. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ |
