CSM provides effective urban missions experiences that transform lives, influence local churches and honors Christ. CSM helps rural and suburban youth, college and adult groups from a variety of Christian churches build a bridge to ministry opportunities in some of North America’s key urban centers. Since 1988, more than 67,000 young people and adults from almost 4,000 churches, schools and other organizations have provided valuable assistance to urban churches and other ministries in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Nashville, New York City, Washington, D.C., Houston, and Denver.

Core ValuesWe conduct ourselves at all times as ambassadors of Jesus Christ. We value our staff by training, developing, supporting, and recognizing them. We provide authentic benefit to the serving group participants. We provide authentic benefit to the urban ministries we serve. We raise funds with integrity and utilize the financial resources entrusted to us responsibly. Guiding Principles We minister only where we are invited. We treat those we work with and encounter with respect, courtesy and integrity. We do everything we can to create safe and productive environments for our serving groups. We make our financial records available at all times. We seek our urban partners’ advice and counsel and whenever possible, adjust our agenda to meet their priorities.
