Does anyone out there know any rules regarding IRS donations to 501(c)3 organizations? On the 990 form, there is a question regarding a 33 1/3 donation rule regarding a single person. Can anyone out there explain this rule?

I'm puzzled on that one too! There is a maximum that a person can claim as a donation deduction in a given year, ie a certain percentage of your income, but that doesn't relate to a 990 form, which lists income, as I recall.
